Stacie Pittell Selected to Serve as General Counsel to BEGA
The District of Columbia Board of Ethics and Government Accountability (“BEGA”) announced today that it has selected Stacie Pittell to serve as the General Counsel to BEGA.
Ms. Pittell is the Assistant Inspector General for Investigations at the District of Columbia Office of the Inspector General, where she has served since 2008. Prior to her work for the District, Ms. Pittell served as an Inspector General at the New York City Department of Investigation, where she had served in various roles for more than 15 years. While there, she conducted and supervised numerous investigations involving New York City employees and contractors. Ms. Pittell began her career at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn, NY where she tried felony cases in the NY State Supreme Court. Ms. Pittell brings vast knowledge and experience to BEGA, especially with regard to the investigatory functions of the Office.
