The increased fines and speed traps are not increasing public safety. They are making it impossible to live in this city. The fines are out of control. Often when a new speed camera is installed the speed limit is dropped. If we want to make the streets safer, how about more beat cops instead of a regressive tax thats only hurts the dc citizens.
