Charles D. Nottingham is the managing partner and owner of a law and consulting firm based in downtown Washington, DC – Charles D. Nottingham PLLC. Mr. Nottingham is a seasoned veteran of government service having spent 18 years in the public sector. He has served as the CEO of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and the federal Surface Transportation Board (STB). He has also previously served as chief of staff for two members of Congress and subsequently spent nine years as a senior manager at the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT). Mr. Nottingham has extensive first-hand experience managing ethics compliance and developing a workplace culture defined by accountability and transparency. A Ward 3 resident, Mr. Nottingham is a leader in his neighborhood parish church and serves on the Board of Advisors for the Bishop John T. Walker School for Boys in Anacostia, DC. He holds degrees from Wesleyan University (B.A.) and the Scalia School of Law at George Mason University (J.D.).
