Felice Smith currently serves as the Associate General Counsel and Ethics Officer for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, where she manages ethics and compliance programs on behalf of over 1500 employees and a Board of Directors. Prior to working for the Airports Authority, Ms. Smith served as the Deputy Chief Ethics Officer for the Export-Import Bank of the United States. During her tenure with the Export-Import Bank, Ms. Smith was selected for and successfully completed the Excellence in Government Fellows Program administered by the Partnership for Public Service. A dedicated public servant, Ms. Smith has held several other positions in the federal government, including serving as an Assistant General Counsel at the Library of Congress and as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. A Ward 5 resident, Ms. Smith received her B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her J.D. from Howard University School of Law.
