(Washington, DC) -- The Board of Ethics and Government Accountability (BEGA) will hold its yearly Best Practices Symposium at the University of the District of Columbia (UDC), David A. Clarke School of Law Moot Court Room on October 15, 2015 from 6 PM to 8 PM. The symposium, "Follow the Money: Improving Ethics Oversight of Contracting with the District Government", will be moderated by Katherine (Shelley) Broderick, Dean of the David A. Clarke School of Law, and will include discussion on improving ethics oversight of those who wish to do business with the District. The panelists are Darrin P. Sobin, BEGA Director of Government Ethics; Daniel Lucas, D.C. Inspector General; George Schutter, Chief Procurement Officer for the District’s Office of Contracting and Procurement; and Patrick Madden, Investigative Reporter for WAMU.
