During its September 8, 2022, meeting the Board of Ethics and Government Accountability voted unanimously to approve a Negotiated Disposition in Case 21-0077-P (In the Matter of C. Thornton).
Under the Negotiated Disposition, the Board imposed a $3,000.00 fine against the Respondent, C. Thornton, for his violations of the Code of Conduct in connection with his misuse of government property and representations as an agent for an outside entity before the Board of Zoning and Adjustment on three separate occasions in 2021 and 2022. The Respondent admitted to appearing on behalf of a client before the BZA on October 13, 2021, September 22, 2021, and May 18, 2022.
