The Investigator position is located in the Office of Government Ethics, Board of Ethics and Government Accountability (BEGA), an independent organization responsible for investigation and enforcement of the District's ethics laws and regulations with regard to District Government Employees. The position functions as an expert Investigator, primarily responsible for conferring with, assisting and advising the BEGA Director of Government Ethics and General Counsel in developing investigative plans, policies, procedures, and techniques, and to handing all administrative and investigative issues relating to a wide diversity of operations and activities throughout the District Government.
