BEGA held its Best Practices Symposium “Follow the Money: Improving Ethics Oversight of Contracting with the District Government” on October 15, 2015 at the University of the District of Columbia (UDC), David A. Clarke School of Law. The panel included BEGA Director of Government Ethics, Darrin Sobin, D.C. Inspector General, Daniel Lucas, Chief Procurement Officer for the District’s Office of Contracting and Procurement, George Schutter, and Investigative Reporter for WAMU, Patrick Madden. The panelists addressed ethical issues involved in government contracting and procurement.(Read More)
