On September 27, 2024, pursuant to D.C. Official Code § 1-1161.01(47)(I), the Board of Ethics and Government Accountability (“BEGA”) designated members of 47 boards and commissions as public financial disclosure statement filers. On May 6, 2025, the D.C. Council approved temporary, emergency legislation (B23-0239 Uniform College Athlete Name, Image, or Likeness Emergency Amendment Act of 2025) which suspends the filing requirement for those board and commission members until January 2026.
